Artificial Intelligence Community
Our Artificial Intelligence (AI) community brings together council leaders, technology experts, policymakers, and community members to address common challenges and opportunities with Artificial Intelligence. In partnership with City of Edinburgh, Perth & Kinross and Renfrewshire Coucil, this community focuses on aligning AI with local priorities, improving service delivery, ensuring ethical use, and driving innovation through shared knowledge and policies.
Engage Process Community
The Digital Office has launched a centralised repository for Scottish Local Authorities with Engage Process, a leading process management solution. This community aims to collectively map and share processes to enhance operational efficiencies, showcase collaborative opportunities for common solutions, and ultimately improve service delivery for citizens.
Enterprise Architecture Community
The Enterprise Architecture Community understands the critical role that strategic alignment, innovation, and technology play in driving organisational success. Our community is dedicated to fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and advancing best practices in enterprise architecture.
The communities mission is to empower enterprise architects to design and implement robust, scalable, and agile architectures that support business objectives and drive digital transformation. We aim to create a platform where professionals can exchange knowledge, discuss emerging trends, and collaborate on solving complex challenges.
Internet of Things Community
Our Internet of Things (IoT) community, in partnership with Scotland's Innovation Centre for IoT, imaging, and sensing (CENSIS), and with support from the Scottish Government, aims to accelerate IoT adoption. The community provides national leadership, showcases the benefits through events and case studies, and facilitates partnerships with public sector entities and industry.
National Power Platform Community
In partnership with Perth & Kinross Council, our National Power Platform Community offers a space for sharing knowledge, best practice and developing digital skills to use Power Platforms. This community supports using common platforms to improve service delivery and drive innovation within local authorities.
Next Generation Digital Champion Community
The Next Generation Digital Champions Community aims to strengthen public sector services by promoting efficiency, collaboration, and a sustainable digital culture. This community connects digital champions from across Scottish local authorities to share best practice, lead peer-to-peer learning, and facilitate the adoption of digital initiatives to support a unified approach to digital transformation.
Local Government Service Design Community
This community is for anyone who wants to discuss and learn about the role of service design in local government. It brings together individuals from various local authorities. Our mission is to share knowledge, best practices, and collaborate to provide resources that help embed the Scottish Approach to Service Design within teams and the organization as a whole. The community supports its members in applying service design in their work.
